As always, please let me know of anyone I need to add or delete. I admit to scanning and filtering my flist because it's so large, so please help me out if I missed anyone.



Into your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our friends.

May those who are cold and without a warm place to rest find one tonight.

We pray for the victims of storms everywhere.

We pray for all victims of human trafficking and slavery.

We pray that all students, teachers and all who work at schools everywhere will be kept safe.

For the thousands of people around the world affected by hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes and fires.

For everyone grieving the loss of a partner or friend. May they be comforted.

rozzan's husband was diagnosed with cancer January 14. He's only 59, and they suspect it's pancreatic cancer. Please keep him, Rozzan and their family in your prayers.

brotherskeeper1 had a heart attack and is scheduled for heart surgery January 16. Please keep Cris in your prayers.


jetcas, Emily, died suddenly on December 30. She was only 31, and leaves her husband and 3 young children. Please keep her family in your prayers.

red_lasbelin's aunt has been hospitalized after a bad fall and is in very critical shape. Please keep her in your prayers.

silver_trails mother passed away December 14. Please keep the family in your prayers.

Please keep nienna_weeper and her daughter in your prayers - they have a special need for prayers right now.

__wilderness__'s SO, A, has a slow growing brain tumor in his left frontal lobe. It will be fatal but the life expectancy ranges between worst case 12 months or best case 40 years.

alexcat's friend Jim's wife, Sandra just finished chemo for breast cancer and is going to be doing radiation soon. Her prognosis so far is good.

catwench's FIL, Arch, is caring for his wife, Momele, who has rapidly advancing Alzheimer's. It's a very difficult thing to do, so please keep him in your prayers.

chloe_amethyst's younger brother is having some medical issues.

deathangelgw's dearest friend, Jess, is getting sicker. Her kidneys are failing and they are not sure why.

erviniae's mother is having issues with Myasthenia Gravis. They can't find the right combo of medicine and her eyes are still horribly droopy and affecting her vision.

erviniae's brother is suffering with bouts of severe dizziness.

erviniae's friend's mother is in the hospital with COPD.

jaiden_s's friend Kim's son, Hunter, is five and was just diagnosed with Duchenne MD...the worst kind. Please pray for Hunter and his family.

larienelengasse's best friend Lauriel is battling brain cancer, and it has progressed beyond what chemotherapy can battle. Lauriel is rapidly approaching her final days, so please her, her family and friends in your prayers.

mylodon's friend Edith is in need of prayer, as well as Edith's husband, Jim.

noadvertising's daughter-in-law-to-be's baby is due at the end of January, but doctors fear she won't be able to carry it full term. She´s in hospital most of the time.

noadvertising's mom has advanced oesophageal cancer. She is relatively stable at the moment, but please keep her in your prayers.

perkyandproud's friend Damietta (LadyD) is doing better but can still use prayers.

perkyandproud's nephew Alex is having difficulties again. He stops taking his meds when he feels better, which leads to problems. Please keep him, as well as Perky's Mom and sister in your prayers.

pfodge's mother Yvonne, has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the 3rd time. This time it has spread throughout her body and into the bones. She is 76 years old and can not undergo traditional chemo therapy. She will be taking a chemo type pill, which will hopefully slow down the spread but will not kill the cancer.

semyaza's friend and godmother, Elena, has a small tumour on one lung. Please keep her in your prayers.

skonichek is dealing with horrible headaches and can use prayer.

nienna_weeper's list:

Pam is a breast cancer survivor of ten years and the week of 7/20/13 they found cancer again in her lungs and liver.

Mary Ann, who has ovarian cancer, is not doing well. She is teaching again, but will need to start chemo again soon.

Please pray for Alyx - She has a serious infection in her eye. The doctors are optimistic about being able to save her eye.

Nancie's cancer has returned. She is back to chemo and radiation.

Lucy, age 3, diagnosed with Leukemia June 22, 2012. Her hair is growing back. She looks well - and Nienna believes her chemo is done. Please continue to pray for her.


phyncke's List:

Phyncke's Great Aunt Pearl passed away January 7 at the age of 99. May she rest in peace.

Phyncke's friend AS's mother has throat cancer and has been admitted to the ICU.

Phyncke's friend D's mom is in the hospital with complications from kidney disease and diabetes.

J**'s mother was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer, but passed away the week of July 15 with a massive heart attack. Please keep the family in your prayers.

D*** has Parkinson's Disease. He's had to retire and can use prayer.

Phyncke's friend Debbie needs prayer. She is caring for her mother who has Alzheimer's and an ill brother, all the while working and trying to keep up the house.

nuinzilien and mdarkdreamer's lovely little calico cat, Miko is grieving the loss of her companion, Mouse, recently, and her tooth allergy is flaring up again, making it difficult to eat and maintain weight.

nienna_weeper's kitty Sally Skittles could use some prayers. She is experiencing chronic upper respiratory distress and nothing seems to help. She is 16.

mistressminx_13's co-worker's wife's cancer is back (she is a breast cancer survivor), but unfortunately it is being very aggressive and they don't give her much time. They have 2 little ones - ages 3 and 1.
Another co-worker of mistressminx_13's, Sue's husband - has restrictive lung disease and nodules on his lungs. There isn't any cure, but he is on breathing treatments to slow things as much as possible.

perkyandproud's grandmother is 97 now. Continuing prayer is appreciated.
rolypoly_laurie's degenerative disks in her neck are causing her extreme pain.

semyaza's cousin Vera (who's also her mother's adopted sister), has COPD and unoperable kidney stones but is continuing to soldier on.

From skonichek: Little baby Kenny was born with cataracts over both eyes, and has glaucoma which has damaged his vision. His parents also need a lot of prayer. Kenny's last surgery was October 31.

weepingnaiad's Mom is off of oxygen during the day, so she's improved a lot.
