It's time for another, "Name that country"! I'll refrain from commenting until anyone who wants to can take a guess.

A hint: it's not Russia. Many people from this country immigrated to Canada.

The pictures are all from the same plaza/courtyard/mall - whatever you want to call it.

Somewhere Eastern European? Wherever it is, it's lovely.

I'd say France, but the architecture doesn't seem right. So an Eastern European country?

Isn't it odd that it's leaning? Not like Pisa, but definitely a tilt!

Aha ,the memory kicked in. It's in Kiev, Ukraine: the belltoweer of a monastery, I think. Then second pic is of a restored cathedral..can't remember name. This is what happens when you visit cousins in Eastern Europe..they have some neat pics.

Hmmm, I have no clue, but would definitely say it is in one of the CIS or CEE countries. Could even be Austria. I am curious!

That´s Uspenski Cathedral in Kiev. Daughter mine had to do a paper about Unesco World Cultural Heritage and even my muddled brain did recognize it.
