Thank you and update

aglarienMy dear friends, thank you so much for all of the birthday posts, private messages, gifts and emails. Your friendship and kindness mean the world to me. I won't name names here for fear of missing someone, but hopefully I haven't missed anyone in thanking you individually.
Work, as usual, treated me royally and we had a lovely brunch with quiche and a potato casserole and other goodies. In lieu of a cake, we had brownie cupcakes stuffed with either an Oreo and peanut butter, or a mini Almond Joy, served with ice cream. It was heaven.
The day was tempered by my poor Moxley doing so poorly. She's down to skin and bones. I spoke with the vet this morning and she suspects kidney disease, but it sure struck fast. The vet will be here at 7:30 tomorrow morning to assess her and we'll make a decision if it makes sense to put her through what it would take to possibly get her better. I suspect her age is against her.
