I got some lovely positive feedback about adding a section for your pets, so I've done that. Please let me know if you have any ailing animals you'd like to add: the name and what kind of animal it is, and the breed if you'd like.

Please let me know if you have any updates. I completely understand that in a lot of cases there are no update - things simply continue as they are - but I'd like to keep things current. There's a lot of entries I haven't had an update on in over a year.

As always, please let me know of anyone I need to add or delete. I admit to scanning and filtering my flist because it's so large, so please help me out if I missed anyone.



Into your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our friends.

We pray for all victims of human trafficking and slavery.

We pray that all students, teachers and all who work at schools everywhere will be kept safe.

For the thousands of people around the world affected by hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes and fires.

For everyone grieving the loss of a partner or friend. May they be comforted.

Please keep nienna_weeper and her daughter in your prayers - they have a special need for prayers right now.

__wilderness__'s SO, A, has a slow growing brain tumor in his left frontal lobe. It will be fatal but the life expectancy ranges between worst case 12 months or best case 40 years.

alexcat's friend Jim's wife, Sandra just finished chemo for breast cancer and is going to be doing radiation soon. Her prognosis so far is good.

catwench's FIL, Arch, is caring for his wife, Momele, who has rapidly advancing Alzheimer's. It's a very difficult thing to do, so please keep him in your prayers.

From charliecochrane, please keep Heather's family in your prayers.

deathangelgw's dearest friend, Jess, is getting sicker. Her kidneys are failing and they are not sure why.

elladansgirl's Aunt Hazel is very elderly and not doing well. Please keep Hazel and the family in your prayers.

erviniae's mother is having issues with Myasthenia Gravis. They can't find the right combo of medicine and her eyes are still horribly droopy and affecting her vision.

jaiden_s's friend Kim's son, Hunter, is five and was just diagnosed with Duchenne MD...the worst kind. Please pray for Hunter and his family.

larienelengasse's best friend Lauriel is battling brain cancer, and it has progressed beyond what chemotherapy can battle. Lauriel is rapidly approaching her final days, so please her, her family and friends in your prayers.

mylodon's friend Edith is in need of prayer, as well as Edith's husband, Jim.

noadvertising's mom went to hospital for a treatment of her anaemia and came back with a diagnosis of advanced oesophageal cancer. Please keep her in your prayers.

perkyandproud's friend Damietta (LadyD) is doing better but can still use prayers.

perkyandproud has some medical issues going on. Please keep her in your prayers.

pfodge's mother Yvonne, has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the 3rd time. This time it has spread throughout her body and into the bones. She is 76 years old and can not undergo traditional chemo therapy. She will be taking a chemo type pill, which will hopefully slow down the spread but will not kill the cancer.

skonichek is dealing with horrible headaches and can use prayer.

nienna_weeper's list:

Dick, recently diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and due to start chemo. He fell the week of November 18 and broke his hip. He had surgery and has now been moved to rehab. He will have to be there for a month and cannot start chemo for a while since it is so nasty on the bones.

Dennis, Nienna's Liturgist's brother, passed away on Oct. 31st... Please keep his family in your prayers.

Pam is a breast cancer survivor of ten years and the week of 7/20/13 they found cancer again in her lungs and liver.

Mary Ann, who has ovarian cancer, is not doing well. She is teaching again, but will need to start chemo again soon.

Please pray for Alyx - She has a serious infection in her eye. The doctors are optimistic about being able to save her eye.

Nancie's cancer has returned. She is back to chemo and radiation. Her husband, Dick, has been diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. Please keep them in your prayers.

Lucy, age 3, diagnosed with Leukemia June 22, 2012. Her hair is growing back. She looks well - and Nienna believes her chemo is done. Please continue to pray for her.

Phyncke's friend AS's mother has throat cancer and has been admitted to the ICU.

Phyncke's friend D's mom is in the hospital with complications from kidney disease and diabetes.

J**'s mother was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer, but passed away the week of July 15 with a massive heart attack. Please keep the family in your prayers.

D*** has Parkinson's Disease. He's had to retire and can use prayer.

Phyncke's friend Debbie needs prayer. She is caring for her mother who has Alzheimer's and an ill brother, all the while working and trying to keep up the house.

mistressminx_13's co-worker's wife's cancer is back (she is a breast cancer survivor), but unfortunately it is being very aggressive and they don't give her much time. They have 2 little ones - ages 3 and 1.
Another co-worker of mistressminx_13's, Sue's husband - has restrictive lung disease and nodules on his lungs. There isn't any cure, but he is on breathing treatments to slow things as much as possible.

perkyandproud's grandmother is 96 and had a heart attack a couple of months ago. She is home and doing much better. Continuing prayer is appreciated.
rolypoly_laurie's degenerative disks in her neck are causing her extreme pain.

sardistri's great-aunt Daisy. She's home and doing better, but we'll keep her on the list.

semyaza's cousin Vera (who's also her mother's adopted sister), has COPD and unoperable kidney stones but is continuing to soldier on.
sigsauer40's mother. Her health is poor and she is in a lot of pain.

From skonichek: Little baby Kenny was born with cataracts over both eyes, and has glaucoma which has damaged his vision. His parents also need a lot of prayer. Kenny's next surgery was October 31.
thewenchywiccan's step-father, Bill has serious heart issues. Her overly stressed mother can use prayer as well.
weepingnaiad's Mom is off of oxygen during the day, so she's improved a lot.

You can take my grandmother off the list. She is currently in full remission.

However, I would like to add our cat Miko to the new group. She is having depression issues (she misses Mouse, I think), and her tooth allergy is flaring up again, making it difficult to eat and maintain weight.
