Can anyone guess what country this is? There's a hint in it, but you have to look closely.

The answer

mdarkdreamer and a_terri_beth got it from what I was listening to - book 5 of The Ladies' No. 1 Detective Agency about the fabulous Mma Ramotswe. Delightful books written by Alexander McCall Smith, who was born in Zimbabwe and now teaches law at the University of Edinburgh.

The hint in the picture was the traditional round Botswana house with a thatched roof, which you can just make out down the road.

The railroad crossing is located in Palapye, Botswana.
